I am not concerned over any one country or nation. None of them exist in isolation, though some hope to, largely to the detriment of the people therein.
I am concerned about humankind.
I am worried about the whole, we have enough people squabbling over tiny fractions for personal gain.
I want to make a larger contribution.
I want to be part of the free flow of ideas, the honey that can only be produced with the immense work of an enormous amount of individuals.
Free to move.
Free to explore and create and tinker and play.
Free to be human beings.
Political borders stifle our collective future. We elect kings that rule over us in their land that we gave them.
We so quickly give up our right to self governance. Which makes it easier to accept and hand over authority of ourselves.
If the crowd wills it, it will be law.
I was borne to this planet, to this universe just as you were. Who is anyone to curb my wonderlust?
How dare they!?
No one would trust the majority of people in the world with their children, with their lives and yet these are the people we allow to choose rulers that determine the future of our children and of our lives.
Perhaps we trust to little. We expect too little from others.
We fear the freedom that self-governance and self-reliance would give us.
